  1. The problem with the ILS for runways 26L/R is not an ILS problem, the entire scenery is flat at 2200ft, and in reality these thresholds are almost 150ft lower than the others (2033ft). The ILS takes you to the correct altitude, but the scenery is higher than it should be.

  2. issues with this version, 1/2 way down the strip, buildings are higher off ground that they should be… then goes back to normal…

    They are still working on it. I advise not downloading 2.0 or 2.1 and waiting for 2.2, which should be available in the next few days.

    From the tools>Scenery order (WIP), you may drag the *city package to go above the *airport package, and this will sort it temporarily. The new patch I will upload will fix this permanently

  4. It’s interesting… It says it’s compatible but you still cannot use FlyTampa’s Airport with MS’s City (Vegas Strip). You can however use both FlyTamp’s Airport and City with MS’s Vegas update but you still have to uninstall the MS’s Vegas Strip. I just want to use FlyTampa’s Airport with Microsoft’s Vegas strip.It seems like FlyTampa has city data like building facades or something coded in with their airport and not their city addon…

    1. so true, you sound novice but because you are smart you got it. it’s exactly like that, vegas city exclusions are inside the vegas airport package, so even tho you disable the city the airport data files keep you from having the MS vegas city update.

  6. Actually the issue with floating buildings on fly tampa vegas happens even with the city update uninstalled. My new advice: Delete both and never fly to vegas in the sim. This is fucking ridiculous

  7. Questionable “compatibility” they’ve done with this. If you keep both FT city and airport installed most buildings on the strip north of Caesars are floating a good 50 feet in the air, and if you decide to use the CU city and just the FT airport, you have the same bug as before where you have the entire strip flattened and 2-dimensional.

    My advice: Even though FT did a shoddy job with this “Compatibility” update, I’d still recommend keeping the entire FT vegas suite and deleting the City Update. The City Update’s only saving grace is the mountain terrain photogrammetry, but there’s a huge abrupt change on the mountains when it switches from the photogrammetry to the non-photogrammetry areas, destroying immersion. Also the CU Vegas city has the sphere lit up 24/7 where as FlyTampa correctly has the lights off until dark.

    TL;DR: Keep FlyTampa and delete the City Update, but FlyTampa needs to do better with keeping their products up to date.

    It’s got texture issues, terrain issues. FlyTampa is aware of it and is working on a patch.

  11. FlyTampa is more better than Asobo CU IIIV, and they can,t compatible each other~

    Asobo use a lot 3D of google map or bing whatever~ the building is melted everything~

    just like WW3 sim some shit~ HA HA

    they don,t want to hand made, so Asobo is try to give-up the FS2020?

  12. plz help simplaza when i load up the scenery there are no terminal buildings and the taxiways and runways are just low quality satellite images with no rendering, but the city loads in just fine

  13. for me the airport is just a flat satellite image, with no terminal buildings and only jetways, how do i fix this?

  14. IS this the latest version? ILS 26L is still broken drops you down too early to the prior to the runway and the FPS hit is still insane in any modern airliner.

  15. If you guys are having performance issues, go into the scenery folder and delete the Bellagio fountain animation files. Performance back up to previous version. No idea why they do things like this if it destroys perf.

  17. Yup deleting this the FSP is really bad and I’m running a 4090. Landed here twice and its a waste of time 10-15fps will try the other KLAS airport.

  19. Must admit the FPS are terrible in VR, I’ve now got a 4090 which has overcome most other low FPS problems I’ve had in the past but this is still totally unusable in VR.

    1. I am using a RTX 4070 with a AMD Ryzen 5600x in VR in (TAA) modeI have overall great performance flying around Fly Tampa Las Vegas City. For me a simple change as choosing half refresh rate on the vsync of my monitor made the difference in smoothness even when fps is in the 30s for my sim. Even when my sim is in the mid 20s the sim moves relatively smooth. Your beast of a RTX 4090 is suppose to handle rendering this scenery with ease. It has to be either your in sim settings or an issue with your flight simulator itself unless you have faulty hardware.

  21. Tested V 2.0.0: correct runway markings, very good ramp and taxiway texturing. Rubber marks are good but FlyTampa did better in the past (like at LGAV) but they are correct in general… for example RWYs that aren’t used for landings don’t show rubber marks. PAPI and approach lighting is correct, terminal looks good at night. City is well done. Solid 9,5/10 imho.

    1. I can attest to this. Some hotels and airport buildings still need updates, life Gulfstream hanger should be NetJets and JSX hanger, SLS should be Sahara, Luxor needs blue lighting at night, etc.

      But I’m sure FT will update soon.

  22. Hopefully FlyTampa updates this in November to add the Formula 1 Track and the Sphere in the Venetian!

    1. Head to New York with SamScene.
      And don’t forget that hardly any “scenario” has ever added as much as this one has. See the Strip at night and you will not complain.

  23. Hi -I had not updated this since 1.3. Now that I am replacing files, I noticed that 1.3 came with a library folder. Should that stay in the community folder or go? Have they baked in the library into the scenery? (also, will deleting it impact LGAV?). Thank you!

    ILS 26L indeed has an incorrect glideslope alignment for Navigraph users, due to certain differences (RW slope and elevation) in Navigraph navdata and the scenery itself.

    Solution is quite simple though:

    Go to:

    C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache

    Open file content.xml with notepad and edit it to look like following:

    That solved it for me, so, hopefully, will help others as well.

  26. So many positive comments and just the one I saw about my issue. I don’t have any buildings at the gates, just the jetways. I only had KLAX and KLAS in my community folder. Is there a MSFS addon that’s conflicing that I might have just overlooked?

  27. Installs fine and looks great but I had a repeating large stutter every 2-3 seconds on DX12. Possibly a DX12 issue, at a guess I would say it’s caused by an animation on one of the buildings or something. It stopped as soon as I got far enough away for scenery to unload.

  28. Is anyone having problems with the terrain of the Airport being bumpy over by 26R/26L. This happened after the update.

  29. Seem to have issues with this install, the terminal buildings don’t appear. Could be due to an outdated version?

    1. It does appear that is the most recent update, so not sure what is currently causing this issue for me. No terminal buildings, jetways, lights or anything. City loads in fine though!

      1. Must be some other addon that causes this bug for you.
        I have no problems with this addon whatsoever.
        City and airport is rendered correctly.
