Opened in 1961, Zvartnots quickly became the main air gateway of Armenia. In the 1980s, it gained worldwide recognition for its bold Soviet modernist architecture – the iconic ring-shaped terminal, which remains one of the most unusual airport buildings of its era. Today, Zvartnots combines modern passenger terminals with this architectural heritage, serving flights across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, while offering breathtaking approaches with a view of Mount Ararat.

• On-site photo references: our team visited the airport in person, capturing terminals, aprons, and surroundings for maximum authenticity
• Built from scratch for MSFS 2024: all 3D models, textures, aprons, runways, and ground markings created new
