SimPlaza’s recommendation is wrong and outdated. If you use GSX, you have no choice but to use this airport as GSX FSDT updater is now deleting and disabling GSX services on all FSDT airports so this is your only option. SimPlaza is saying to rename the FSDT airports but this method has been patched out by the FSDT live updater’s latest versions, and no longer works. Umberto is truly a demon.
Not only that though, this airport comes with a lot more handcrafted buildings outside the airport and has far better textures and buildings which FSDT just keeps as photogrammetry. The only thing the FSDT airport has on this airport is KNQX which still looks mostly default anyway. Just get this KEYW and enjoy.
GSX Pro is the only good pushback tool available, now that Aerosoft bought out the toolbar pushback developer to make that crappy freeware mod payware. Unacceptable imo, the mod had memory leaks galore. As much as people rip on GSX, it really is the only reliable way to pushback in the sim without having to manually guide the tug which is unrealistic. So much stuff you could be doing while GSX auto pushes instead of you trying to drive the tug and also starting engines, etc. Now if only GSX would add towing forwards.
Seconding this. FSDreamTeam scenery doesnt work with GSX if you get it off simplaza.
