    1. If you´re using GSX, disable this airport on the live update program, Flightbeam Studios claim their jetways are better, look for their facebook page.

  1. Listen, performance is key at every airport. We all strive for the best frames and no stutters. This airport is next to FlyTampa when it comes to performance. Yes the sounds are loud however there is a fix for it.. simply rename the file for sound. Theres enough third party options for airport sounds and immersion. The interiors look great, so what if you can’t fly a drone into the terminal.. last time I checked it’s a flight simulator not a terminal simulator. Immersion is key and they nailed it with the modeled terminals. Overall very impressed with the airport and honestly I hope more devs would create airports like this.

    Rant over.. lol

    1. you can do so by changing the relevant file extension of the landmark .xml’s to .off inside the SimObjects folder.

  2. Does anyone know how to turn down the volume of the airport? Its a great scenery, but when I load in it sounds like theres a million other aircraft engines and its super loud in the cockpit

    1. You can remove the sounds by renaming the following files:
      flightbeam-airport-kmsp-minneapolis/SimObjects/Misc/Flightbeam_Sounds1/soundai/soundai.xml -> soundai.xml.off
      flightbeam-airport-kmsp-minneapolis/SimObjects/Misc/Flightbeam_Sounds2/soundai/soundai.xml -> soundai.xml.off

  3. Awesome! instant buy for me, thank you Simplaza for let us try it, this is a good Dev. I can’t wait for their SFO

  4. This is an airport from P3D 10 years ago, so it weighs 370 megabytes. Totally sucks. The developer was too lazy to remake this airport.

  5. Ray Proudfoot (aka OD_Emperor)

    One of the most advanced airports ever created for a flight sim, and it’s only 374 MB to download even with custom interior sounds.
    Thanks Flightbeam and SimPlaza!
