only $10 and totally worth it
How can we resolve the issue with GSX?
Does this scenery have the new gate numbers for the International Terminal? or still the old ones? New one goes up to D18A
The DRM.
THE DRM IS REAL!
FYI< One work a round that works for me , when starting at an Fsdreamteam airport with GSX pro, kill Couatl (FSdreamteam) running in background, have Pushback Helper installed, totally outside program not in Community folder, which can be downloaded for FREE at http://www.Flightsim.to, start pushback helper, can be used for Jetway, pushback and ground services, very simple program but works great for all aircraft. when fished close pushback helper and you can restart Couatl, to use GSX pro. Pushback helper works for all aircraft and creates no problems with aircraft.
some modders say not to use pushback helper because it has a memory leak or something
this isn’t a solution bcs you aren’t using GSX pro for pushback
how to use GSX with this airport?
You can’t, FSDT has recently implemented some anti-piracy measures for their products. All FSDT airports cannot be used with GSX until SP gets around the restrictions somehow.
Simplaza please update the info page with steps to get FSDT airports to work with GSX or if its impossible then update it to say so. Atm, every FSDT airport regardless of file name will be deleted by GSX and the comments in this thread have only be able to stop deletion. Still getting no GSX services at these airports regardless of the method. Any Ideas?
CAUTION: running the fsdt application for gsx will cause it to delete their folders, it doesn’t matter if it was renamed. Best way is to move folders to another location when running gsx setup.
Mr. Simplaza, any workaround for getting GSX to work at FSDT airports now that they can somehow detect non activated FSDT products?
Updating GSX to 2.6.2makes it no longer works with any fsdt addons, warning to anyone who hasnt updated yet
Best I can tell, GSX has its own instance of the Soraco QLM (quick license manager) that it uses to verify activation, the same method as the installer app. QLM is .Net framework 4.5 so it is somewhat easy to modify the IL, but I haven’t tried it yet myself. I don’t think they are doing some sort of basic check you can easily bypass.
That said you can put the scenery files in the C:\Program Files(x86)\Addon Manager\MSFS folder and make a hard symlink into the community folder. That tricks the installer to thinking it is installed but won’t delete the files.
How to create a symbolic link to community folder
mklink /d [link-name in community] [actual location of KIAH content]
run above cmd in DOS cmd with admin privileges
я сделал так как написано, теперь программа FSDT не удаляет папку, но GSX при этом не работает
Tried the second part of your post (used MSFS Addons Linker for simlink) and didn’t work. GSX remains disabled.
Correct, the symlink tricks the installer so it will show installed and not delete the files. It won’t trick GSX or the Installer into thinking the product is activated. They use a 3rd party software for that which is signed. It’s a significant effort to crack that.
I have looked at the QLMLicense.DLL. Hexet.it is a great tool. This will be extremely difficult to crack, The DLL works with the manifest. I have been playing around with no success, Inside the dll are two web ip addresses and then links to Soraco… Why am I stating all of this… Think this is the key to cracking emulating Soraco via QLMLicense.DLL modifications.
The scenery will load if it’s placed in the Official folder instead of community. However GSX won’t load.
I think the problem from fsdt with the airport
Every file and document has fsdt written in them and there are hundreds even more I suspect umberto is at the cause of it
Sly fox that one I managed to get airport working but gsx has disabled ground services
There’s got to be a workaround. If the FSDT marketplace airports are still working with GSX without being activated than there has to be a way for us to make these work.
Hi who can resolve the problem with gsx pro don’t work with this kiah ?? Thank you very much
GSX is detecting it no matter what you rename it now
houston only
I’m sure the others will be infected too soon… 🙁
Others as well. All fsdt airports
I think there must be a folder name or some folder structure check by gsx software that detect the airport is from fsdt i am not sure if changing the all fsdt folders names will work or make the scenery work on the sim
it doesn’t work thank you for your try
Having an issue with the fsdt universal installer deleting the folder even though I renamed it. Any ideas?
I put all renamed fsdreamteam folders in one folder outside msfs 2020 installation folder. Then, I just copy and paste the sceneries I want in the Community folder before running MSFS 2020. When you run the fsdt universal installer after placing the fsdt sceneries, the app would always delete these renamed files (I even renamed the folder ‘1’ and it still get deleted). You just have to copy and paste again as required. Maybe someday someone would know of a better workaround on this. Enjoy!
Good idea, but it doesn’t fix the problem with GSX not working for this Airport
Does this also include the optional 4k textures?
not yet
Thank you very much
Thank you Mr. Plaza
The ground textures look messed up. Also GSX Pro refuses to work for this airport for me. I even tried copying the profile into the gsx profiles location.
The airport needs to be activated (purchased) for it to work with GSX. I suspect this will also be the case with any updates to other FSDreamteam airports for MSFS.
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu
Wow, that was so fast. Thanks SP! You’re da’ best.
SP, you’re amazingly amazing! Thank
You!
When loading the flight GSX says GSX has been disabled. Couatl.err says “kiah_fsdt_MSFS addOn is not activated, GSX disabled for this airport”. The community folder for this airport has been renamed as per info above.
yes me too, coudn’t fix it
Same for me. Any fix would be appreciated.
same here
Having bought GSX, the latest Installer (and/or Update) also deletes all but KORD from community folder; unless of course one owns the legit version(s).
I got FSDreamteam’s KCLT, KIAH, KORD, LFSB and LSZH from here, and all but KORD get automatically deleted once you run GSX Installer.
No idea why KORD remains in community folder…
But what if you use addon linker
No idea as I don’t use Addon Linker
If you have the FSDT airports turned off in Addon Linker when you run FSDT updater the airports are not deleted because the updater can’t see them in the community folder.
Ok folks: for those of you (like myself) when running GSX Installer and it deleting all FSDreamteam Airports except (in my case) KORD, I tried AddonsLinker. After re-installing all FSDT’s airports, I used them with AddonLinker and Voilà:All FSDT airports remained and where fully functional with GSX. (As stated b4, I purchased GSX). The only exception of course is KIAH. For some reason GSX won’t work with it. (“GSX has been disabled on this airport by user settings”).Until somebody finds a work-around, simply use the In-Sim ATC to use services.
Hope this helps.
