In order for Os … read morehkosh’s airport to accommodate such an influx of air traffic throughout the week, EAA works closely with the FAA and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association to publish specific VFR arrival and departure procedures which pilots are required to follow.
These specific VFR procedures are published in a Notice (previously known as the NOTAM) and require pilots to conduct non-standard approaches and maneuvers into and out of the airport, while listening to fast-paced air traffic control and flying closer to other aircraft than most pilots have ever flown before.
The procedures for PilotEdge’s SimVenture event are nearly identical to EAA’s actual AirVenture event thus giving pilots an incredibly realistic experience of flying into and out of Oshkosh.

I’ve just got planes inside planes everywhere. Tried setting the ground aircraft slider to zero but still getting double planes.
Pilot Edge are pricks now. They won’t let you download this from them if you are using a trial account. Last year they let trial accounts have it. Look forward to seeing you guys flying into AirVenture.

The issue in 2022 was a web site misconfiguration that was fixed as soon as users mentioned it. It was not the intention to make it for paid members only, especially since users can’t control when their trial ends even if they are ready to pay.

many planes and stands(tents) scattered around but so empty on spectators, so no ambiant atmosphere. Lot of buildings or so called superstructures are only 2D on the ground and the control tower is empty but marked as the most busiest worldwide.
