The first runway was constructed on Norfolk Island with the assistance of the United States Air Force and the first aircraft to use it was a Lockheed Hudson bomber on 25 December 1942.
Today the Island receives five commercial operations per week from Auckland, Sydney and Brisbane. The largest aircraft regularly utilising the Airport is presently the Airbus A320.
In addition to regular commercial flights the airport is crucial for medical evacuations to Australia.

Nice scenery. Biggest problem is no Norfolk Pine trees around the airport. A very important part of the airport scenery missed.
How much better than the flightsim.to freeware?
The freeware needs 8 dependencies libraries. And from the photos it doesn’t look any better or worse than this.
the terminal is nicely done in this, vegetation around runway is also better. i guess island is also re touched, not sure on it, only fly airliners so maybe i have not noticed in detail, but it looked better than last time i flew here with the .to freeware.
Yeah this is better in every way, except it’s missing the iconic Norfolk Pines, which is a major issue and means I’ll stick with the freeware instead of buying this.
