Wasted money on this. Bad fps and it Has not been updated for quite a while due to the devs being in school. Won’t be supporting them any further!
This scenery is quite unplayable for me fps wise, the fps isn’t “low” and better than the FlyTampa version but i have major freeze almost like game pause every 3-5 seconds. This is the only scenery that has this issue on my pc. Help is appreciated, have a good day.
ft is way better, the only downside is that ft doesn’t have the customized jetways colors across the old terminals.
fps better with SU8, i prefer this one, more accurate, real jetways colors…
Just tested this. FPS can definitely be better in this airport. Needs some optimization. It does affect the immersion quite a bit when using the drone camera. Plus the interior modeling textures are not of great quality and honestly underwhelming.

RegDesigns has managed to create a great airport with exceptional ground textures and details for surrounding areas and terminals. While there are some updates needed for jetways links, they are quite minor.
FlyTampa has been announcing CYYZ since Jul 2021 and it has been left untouched. Now that RewgDesigns has launched theirs, it must have put tremendous pressure to launch theirs as well/ But it doing so they had taken corners, and for the first time ground textures in FlyTampa leaves much to be desired.
This was my concern with the FlyTampa one as well. I figured they had just really put it hard on the back burner as I believe their next scheduled release was supposed to be KBOS. I totally agree with your assessment that they saw RegDesigns had announced this for imminent release and then went “oh shit we better release ours as quickly as possible.”
I can live with not as good textures on the FlyTampa version as long as it doesn’t tank FPS like this does. As excellent as this is (they even modelled the Wendy’s on the east side of Airport Road!) the hit on the FPS for my 3700X/1070 is massive.
This is sick detailed…also more than 10GB..but the level of detail, the modelling, omg..Let’s see what FlyTampa will do, also eager to see the comparison by someone. But this is just MASSIVE.

Yup flytampa looks way better from their website. I downloaded this one before I went to work, will check it out. But I will likely end up just purchasing FlyTampa YYZ, they’re stuff is incredible.

The jeteways are most dissapointing. The hooks are extended, even when in static position, and when they approach the aircraft, they remain extended, and it seems as if they penetrate it in order to attach.
Not to mention it’s fps butcher.
I’m curious to see how the FlyTampa version of CYYZ compares because their KLAS is not really FPS friendly either. I get some brutal FPS drops in some spots on KLAS.
Oh yeah this is an FPS Butcher alright. Terminal 1 area FPS is really tough.
I would personally wait for the FlyTampa’s version, apparently it’s coming out in the “next 2 days”
I was surprised it was taking FlyTampa so long to get their version out considering how long ago it was announced. RegDesigns announced their version and released it within less than a week. I guess with this release FlyTampa panicked and is quickly trying to release theirs now.
I would be curious to see which version is better. Based on the RegDesigns YT Video they put out for this airport though this looks incredibly detailed, especially with accurate interiors.

Just noticed. These airport add-ons are absolutely massive. Is there any technical reason why these packages need to be so enormous compared their P3D counterparts?
I am sure it is because the asset creation and detail level is very different and complex versus P3D and XP.
