The International airport of Magadan (Sokol) named by V. S. Vysotsky (IATA: GDX, ICAO: UHMM) is an airport of federal significance, located near the village of Sokol, north of the city of Magadan on 50 km of the main Kolyma Road.
It provides regular flights to the Magadan Region with airports in the Russian Far East (including the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug), Siberia and Moscow.
