The Hong Kong City Times scenery shows the real environment of Hong Kong today. It shows the side of Hong Kong in the new era, therefore the old Kai Tak Airport is not included, instead it includes the modern new area of Kai Tak nowadays.

objects_with_cruise.bak is missing in v2.1.0
I noticed…either they forgot to add it or they stopped supporting it (I didn’t bundle the old objects_with_cruise.bak as you’d end up with an older version of the scenery)

For some reason when I put this into my community folder and load the sim nothing appears, still all default
Update – I deleted the SamScene entry in the scenery index and re-installed and is working great! Ty SP as always legends
If you wanna use this in SU11, you have to remove newly released VHHX Kai Tak Airport from your content manager…

Awesome, I was just flying in HK yesterday and noticed how this conflicts with Kai Tak. But this scenery is an absolute must have if you want to fly over HK, not just the buildings but the bridges are pretty bad without it.
Does this conflict with the freeware VHHX from flightsim.to?

Yes, you can only have 1 or the other. Use content manager to decide.
I have strong lag in Macau , even after i uninstalled the scenery , there’s something between WFvhhh ,samscene hong kong city and VMMC , one of those sceneries is causing strong lag ! can u investigate please , some other people experiencing the same . ps: i didnt install samscene vhhh airport just the city but big strong lags in macau and like 50 nm aournd

same here. it’s “something”. hongkong is fine with community folder empty, but with WF scenery VHHH, Samscene HK and Ali501 Kai Tak together, something is wrong and disabling either doesnt help. Maybe also the large number of boats? GAIST/Seafront?
WTH? My paid version is only 1.4.2 on ORBX! Why are they so slow duh!
Hong Kong City Times MSFS is now updated to V1.5
Changelog:
1. added some area of aerial image from Kowloon West to Kowloon East
2. enhancement to Kowloon West and M-plus area
3. added few custom hotels and apartments to Kowloon East area
4. added landable platform for helicopter to Shun Tak building and The Peninsula Hotel rooftop
