Horrible FPS
I don’t have the KROA addon installed and still I’ve got the checkerboard at KCVG.
The fixed version wiped all my problems away. Thanks!
of all possible incompatibilities, an addon from the same developer would have been LOW on my list of possibilities 😀

The ROA fix worked, however still missing jetways.. anyone know of a fix for that
I found the most likely cause of the jetway issue. This scenery conflicted with Verticalsim’s KGSP Greensville/Spartanburg because the name of their jetway files are the same (MyCompany_Jetway). I.e. people may be having conflicts with multiple sceneries if they have a jetway file titled “MyCompany_Jetway”. Solution for me was to remove the offending other scenery from Community folder, and for others may be to search for any other sceneries with a folder called MyCompany_Jetway, and to remove it. I’m not sure if there’s a way to change the folder’s name to avoid conflict.

I renamed the mycompany to a unique name such as kcvg-skylinesimulations-mycompany.

Is there a fix for the jetways not appearing yet? Everything else is fine for me just no jetways at all.
I think Skyline Simulations are a bunch of clowns charging 21 USD for this.
Wow. the amount of default objects in this scenery is laughable. this is such a joke, just stop making scenery at this point.
apparently runway 18L/36R is filled with elevation bumps that will flip your airplane. happened to captain canada on youtube today.
He’s getting a conflict from something, my 18L/36R is butter smooth.
I deleted the Materiallibs folder as well as every Materiallibs entry inside the layout file. Downloaded the KCVG mod from flightsim.to and installed along with the Skyline KCVG scenery and boila. No more checkerboard or ground textures anomalies.

Their scenery always has some kind of issues and they NEVER listen to their customers about it. This scenery is absolute CRAP!!! Thanks Sim Plaza for saving simmers some $$$
Been waiting for this airport for ages. Sadly this is not only freeware quality at best, there are some absolutely killer bugs that ruin it.
Scenery is sparse, even from ground level you can see streetview type flat cars in car parks as you can in the default airport.
Runways are broken. Bumpy, planes struggle to accelerate.
Massive frame rate issues even in default aircraft.
No aircraft around the DHL hub.
Buildings look like they’ve stuck a few things on the default scenery.
Absolute garbage. So glad I tried this before I bought it, because I’d have been raging.
There is so many issues with this Addon, like where is there Quality Control
I have jetways, but most of the runways, taxiways and ramps are all black n white checkerboard.
Try to run the materiallib changer in your addon linker. If that doesnt help, check if you are using zinertek or rex Airport textures and disable them
Running the materiallib changer fixed it for me. The conflict for me was SCEL by Latinvfr.

The materiallib changer resolved my checkboard on ground textures, however jetways are still missing. I’ve narrowed it down to about a dozen or so airports that it’s potentially conflicting with but I haven’t isolated it to the specific one
If you write which airports are in that dozen or so, I can cross check with mine and narrow further.
there is a fix for circular loading on the homepage. But I still don’t have any Jetways.

The airport is getting conflicts from something else. If I load up just KCVG in my community folder it’s fine. Sadly, I’ve got another 40 airports in the same shared folder, so I haven’t had the time (nor the desire) to determine which one is the culprit.
Is anyone else getting checkerboard ground textures? Tried fixing it with MSFS Addon Linker but to no avail. I know have had this issue before with other scenery but was able to correct it.

No jetways showing up for me?
I have jetways but they don’t move. I call….they don’t listen. I do NOT have the checkerboard issue. But the jetways not connecting to my jets is a drag!!!
I have been waiting for this airport for years as it’s my home airport. I live close to it and at one time, for FSX, I was actually designing my own version. Even got to take tours of the airport from some high up officials including down on the tarmac, in secure areas…all over to take measurements, 1000’s of photos, get detailed texture pics and info from those that work there.. Even back in FSX when they wouldn’t add the 3rd runway!!!! WTF!!! Finally, get one that is worth installing and it has major issues. I pay for all my add-ons, but only after I test them out first. And THIS is why!!!!
