  1. It looks a bit wierd in night. It’s like a bright chunk of place in the middle of nowhere, needs better blending with the surrounding areas light levels. In day time it looks good for what it is.

  2. Which SF bridges are still recommended after WU10/11 and this scenery? There’s a few freeware bridges on flightsim.to, I’m guessing the Bay Bridge isn’t needed anymore since there’s now a MS model included. There’s also a free Salesforce tower on flightsim.to but I’m guessing this scenery is better.

    1. This is what I have from flightsim.to:

      • Oakland Bay bridge (to get the night lighting)
      • Hayward bridge (the stock one is horrendous)
      • Dumbarton bridge (although you can hardly see it from SFO)
      • San Mateo water fix (you can skip the San Francisco County water fix)
      • San Francisco Bay Area Cargo Terminals

All five are fully compatible with this addon and Asobo’s KSFO.

  3. I like this. Excellent on FPS, it eases the load on the bad photogrammetry around the city AND the airport. Small size, textures looks fine to me. Plus it seems that they squeezed some of their “roads” in there as well.

I hope they cover more cities in the US. Maybe Philadelphia next?

    1. Probably the main highlight here is just Salesforce Tower since its not even in the default photogrammetry, other than that it’s better than nothing for SF if you prefer 3D models over photogrammetry.

Just mentioning for comparison about filesize, it’s Taburet we have here (the “artist” who charges €8 for a bunch of random lights in a couple of states and charges the same amount for 4-5 other regions of the same country which all belongs to freeware quality for only 2 MB each) instead SamScene or FlyTampa which include actually good quality PBR 3D models with special effects like with Las Vegas, New York, and Hong Kong to be a few hundred MB. I wish one day they can look into tackling San Francisco with spots like Chase Center, Oracle Park, Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts, Pier 39, Coit Tower, Salesforce Tower, etc. with dynamic lighting on their models for SF.
