Bratislava Airport, also called Letisko Bratislava, (IATA: BTS, ICAO: LZIB) is the biggest international airport in the Slovak Republic, located 9 km from the city center. The airport handles approximately 2 million passengers, 26,000 tonnes of cargo and 27,000 aircraft movements annually. The Bratislava Airport scenery was designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator with its subsequent updates. For the Bratislava Airport project, a detailed airport infrastructure has been implemented, including administrative buildings and hangars.

Models of static aerodrome vehicles, including fire engines, fuel tankers, and official transport vehicles, have been authentically recreated based on the real vehicles used at Bratislava Airport.

The passenger terminal features a detailed interior, with animated passengers inside the building, as well as on the territory of the airport.

The project includes custom models of lamps along the taxiways with lighting connected to them.

    Version 1.2.0:

    • CGL aerial photos were removed from the project. Due to this decision, the resource intensity of the project is improved and the number of textures is reduced. Along with this, the aerial on the airport territory has been edited and now LZIB looks better than with aerial photos of CGL
    • Edited textures of concrete, asphalt, markings
    • Edited position of signs along the runway and taxiways
    • Animated people and objects in the middle of the terminal have the function of not being covered with snow
    • Optimized system of LODs of individual 3D objects
    • A number of other corrections

      Because it’s no longer there IRL, last time I was near the airport there were ATRs parked at that place.

    On ILS31 the PAPI gave me 4 Reds even though I was on the correct Glideslope. Furthermore this Airport also causes a huge white square before loading (Microsoft Fault, still annoying though)

      You are right ! I checked some photos of the real airport and it’s not like this. So it was not intentional. Definitely they used a different font for the “a” in Bratislava.
