ATL by definition is a monumentally busy place. It’s the World’s Number 1 whether by passenger traffic, landings and take-offs, revenue flights, aircraft movements, daily ops, non-stop flights, the superlatives go on…. 105 million passengers board nearly 1 million flights to over 200 destinations every year. There are 7 enormous terminal concourses and almost 300 aircraft parking ramps spread acro … read moress 4,700 acres. It’s Delta’s home base – the world’s busiest airline, a primary Southwest hub, and an important centre of operations for 25 other significant US and international carriers.

why there is a wall of asphalt in the middle of the airport en runways?
asobo KATL with 1.36.2 frozen in loading
My sim simply crashes everytime I try to load into KATL, and I’m using default Asobo KATL
for those having the elevation issue, you must uninstall the ATL update from the USA world update
yes, as in the Info Box above
Wow! This update really redeemed themselves. For those having “elevation” issues I suggest seeing if you have some sort of conflict. The FPS at this airport is amazing as well as detail. Really nice job would HIGHLY recommend over the asobo airport now. No issues at all on my end.
It has elecation issues in the middle of the runways and gates
So who do you vote for?
Microsoft still better after update?
Hi there, there is an elevation error in the scenery. it crosses katl b the middle anyone sees it?
Good news is they dont even sell the KATL they made. They pulled it from their store. Guess all negativity got to them.
Hi @Simplaza, could you pls explain why you consider Imagine Simulation KATL better than microsoft KATL, cause im confused? Ty in advance.
Looked slightly better when I compared it. Might look at it again in case MS updated theirs
Yh, i checked as well. Imo Microsoft/asobo, has more up to date buildings, and better ground textures, especially those taxiway paths between concourse E and F gates, which are separated by grass polygons. (Idk if you understand what i mean.) The only downside i find compared to the imagine sim, is that most concourse F gates are marked as medium instead of heavy, and that gate F14 has a malfunctioning static jetway. That’s why I’ve asked your opinion, maybe you saw something i didn’t.
I’ll go over it again
k, looking forward to hear, and ty for your time.
Okay, I’ve changed the recommendation. Microsoft must’ve updated it, can’t remember the airport looking like that the last time I compared them.
Dunno, it is possible after so may in-game updates. Ty once again. 1 vey last thing i want to ask, a way more general question, is it true that all the Microsoft airports from the various sim and world updates (like KATL, VHHX, LSZH etc) are made by Gaya simulations?
Lots of them, but not all. For example on Sim Update 11, Flight Sim Studio AG made a few as well
Hi! Do you plan on including the Microsoft KATL on here in the future? You have a lot of the other handcrafted on here so curious why KATL isn’t. Thanks!
You mean uploading it? Pointless, it’s available for free on the msfs content manager
Compared to the Asobo airport after the US World update, the only advantage, is that there are some gates marked as Heavy. Other than that, asobo is better, both in terms of satelite images, as well as buildings. and textures
Can confirm this is really bad. There is a huge section of messed up tarmac near E gates and the Control Tower. Definitely skip this trash.
Don’t buy it. Asobo’s better.
damn i wish i waited
Imagine Sim admits on their own website that the airport is shitty:
“Ultra-low limited period MSFS introductory offer. Pricing may also reflect a reduction of features when compared to versions available for other simulator platforms.”
Warning: This airport conflicts with Asobo Studio’s KATL airport, only use one of the two (Asobo’s recommended).
Thanks a lot!!!! another great Airport!!!!
Ahhh, finally! Was waiting ages for it, SimPlaza is here to deliver! Big thanks!
Do you know what they fixed/changed? The first version got bad reviews saying that the one included in the original from the game(Asobo) is much better.
The company is not even offering free upgrades for buyers of v1.
Really, well that sucks..lol
I never had the first version so I can’t tell the changes. I’ll compare this one to Asobo’s variant
thanks, please tell here
