Optional Configuration: To remove static aircraft, copy the file at pyreegue-airport-egaa-belfast\Contrail\src\statics-off\aldergrove.bgl” to “pyreegue-airport-egaa-belfast\scenery”, replacing the existing one.
Belfast International Airport is the main Airport for the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The majority of flights from Belfast International are operated by easyJet, Northern Ireland’s biggest airline and Jet2. It features flights to many European cities and lots of leisure destinations. The airfield is shared with the Joint Helicopter Command Flying Station, Aldergrove and is considered home by many wild Gazelles that are based there. The area was replicated in great detail and features three helicopter-dedicated aprons.

    Is anyone else getting a pink missing texture laptop for the person sitting right in front of the terminal window in the latest update? Or is it just me?

    Has anyone noticed that the laptops inside the airport waiting room are textureless and therefore pink and white squared?

    layout.json,layout.json.nostatic. I’m not sure I’m correct as the nostatic equates to nothing changing after the renaming and the airport doesn’t appear when I go into the game. There is no layout.json or layout.json.nostatic in the filename lookup, do they contain suffixes? But after changing the name, the file type doesn’t change.

    can someone take a vedio shows how to rename the folder, i already changed the name but the JSON wont changed to JSON STATIC, im not a IT man, these make me confused!!!

      Go to file location, there is a file with the above names, quite literally rename it to what is pointed at above. Its very simple.

    Thanks for this release! Speaking of the scenery … it is beautiful, made by god, but it is remarkably heavy, whoever says the opposite speaks without understanding anything. I have a powerful pc with 12900kf, 3090 etc. etc. and I honestly know that once at the terminal, the sim feels the heaviness of the scenario. Then, for heaven’s sake, basically it remains usable on my pc, but I think that those who do not have a particularly powerful pc will have to compromise in order not to ruin the fluidity. The thing I have noticed however is that the problems, as someone has already said, are when you are at the terminal, approaching and taxiing towards the terminal, it doesn’t weigh anything.

    Absolutely amazing scenery and developer. Thanks to Simplaza i get to know their sceneries. They are all a must have. Because of them we know how far an scenery can go. As good as it gets!

    Terrible performance around the terminal building (around 30 fps). When looking away from the terminal 60+ FPS.

      It might not be your hardware but do check your sim settings. The other sceneries from this developer are fine. Nobody else seems to have these issues…

            This is simply not true. The perceived difference in frame rate is dramatic even from 60 fps to 100fps and higher…

              are you an ophthalmologist? didnt think so, do your research dude. average human literally can not see past 60fps, its impossible for them. so its all in your head, you cant see 100fps. unless you are a real trained fighter pilot, i might believe you then. but you are not.

          Well my mistake. I removed Belfast city photogrammetry addon and performance is much better. I get between 25 and 30 fps inside the terminal which is very acceptable. However it could be optimized a little more. Great job!

        It’s not the airport for sure, something else on your end. I’m getting steady 36-38 FPS around every corner of the airport and terminals while spawning with the Black Square Caravan.

      Attention to detail is amazing… One of the best, if not, thee best, airport addon available.. Defo worth a buy if you have the spare cash..
