Lots of other payware & freeware airports are causing a huge cube at this airport to appear (even on the default MYNN airport). This can be fixed by installing “MYNN the checkered box removal” from flightsim.to.

MYNN the checkered box removal for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS
This fix is huge house in the middle 🙂
Awesome, thanks for posting this!
Thank you
The Cube problem is because of a stupid real world sample (from this airport) provided in the official SDK. There is a freeware version of this airport, and this is what that DEV reports:
This is simply incorrect. This box you are referring to comes with the SDK sample files. You most likely have an addon where the developer accidently posted his project with this sample in it. I know this because the sample data involves this airport (MYNN). If you have other MYNN airports where this box disappears, they most likely have exclusion zones around this area, which I do not currently. This can be tested by remove all scenery addons except mine and see if it goes away.

My airport just not working at all, It’s still showing the default airport.
Guys, i want to ask, where approximately do you notice this cube thing? Cause i have many addons installed, but i don’t see this cube anywhere.
It’s gigantic on the middle of the airport, if you don’t see it you don’t have it 😉 Only happens if you have certain airports installed
No, i don’t see it anywhere, and imagine i have about 350gbs of addons. I guess i’m lucky after all.
you’ll get it eventually, > 2TB here
Haha, not that much space man, not even close. My 512Gb drive is already crying for help https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f606.svg. I’m thinking of buying 1tb soon, can’t afford more than that.
Buy 4 TB instead. I bought 2 TB two months ago and starting to realize that it might not be enough very soon (only 700 GB left at the moment and many big things coming).
Check for any freeware scenery from “bernardofly” obtained from flightsim.to in my case, it was the TFFM scenery who was causeing the giant checkered box.
For me I found I had to go through my scenery one by one. I found that Justsim Basel Mulhouse causes sign or the blue and white checkered box. I downloaded the latest SDK and don’t know if that had anything to do with it.
I have found it seems to be the scenery from Justsim. It disappeared after I deleted that scenery.

GUID Conflict between SDK Sample and UK World UpdateWhile investigating a problem that some users believed it was related in one of sceneries (it wasn’t), we found a problem in one of the airports included in the UK World Update, namely EGPR – Barra Airport.
This scenery use the same GUID b5a61705-97ef-4cc3-a058-4eb7743564cf, which is normally assigned to the “SampleMyBox” from the SDK, to create a custom object named “EGPR_11 Sign”
This results in users that have both the UK World Update and the “SimpleScenery” package from the SDK seeing a big “11” sign on the left side of RWY 14 at MYNN, instead of the big checkered Box from the Sample.
I suggest replacing the GUID at EGPR – Barra, because I’m sure copying it from the SDK sample was an oversight and would confuse lots of users trying to follow the sample.
That’s great, but what does it mean? How do we get rid of the giant sign at MYNN?
Thanks for the info.
Replace with what? Anyone know the procedure?
Anyone vouch if this is better than the free version from the Bahama’s pack over from flightsim dot to?
Much better
I remember having seen that huge 11 sign in earlier simulators…this scenery seems ported
Yep I have the big blue box as well. I removed LatinVFR TJSJ but it’s not that.
i also have the weird box on the rw14, already tried the addon linker trick but it still there, any idea ?
The box is caused by another scenery. You need to disable all your sceneries one by one until you find which one is causing it. I did that and my box is gone.
I have a big blue and white checkered box next to the end of runway 14. Does anyone else have this?
Yes, I do.. Did you find a fix yet?
There is a large black taxi/runway sign with the digits 11 close to runway 14. Does anyone else have this issue?
You need to found in your community folder the other scenery in conflict, for me it was ajaccio
Removing LatinVFR TJSJ from my community folder solved this.
My big blue and white box has become the taxi/runway 11 sign after I restarted the sim. Mine is not from LatinVFR TJSJ as I dont have it installed.
scenery designer use old version from msfs-sdk. all designer have to (re)compile the addon with latest sdk.
been looking forward to this one thanks
