The international airport of Los Rodeos – Tenerife Norte is one of the two airports of the biggest insular of the Canary Islands, Spain. Located on a mountain saddle, 660m (2170ft) above sea level, the airfield is known for its rapidly changing weather conditions, making it one of the most challenging and scenic approaches of Europe.

    I have a lot of FPS drop in this scenery. Before the Update it was okay. Any ideas? Is the old one still availeble?

    Has anyone else performance issues since the last update 1.2.0? Now very low fps with this scenery. Tested without photogrammetry scenery from Ezro. Before that new version it performed fanatstic. now it is bad.

      I also got performance stutters happen when it starts loading the airport as I fly close, not very well optimized in different LODs

      For me it’s quite the opposite… stuttering before, flawless fps now. Both case I had no other addons installed

    Hello everyone. It generates problems when entering the ILS of GCXO (Tenerife) and the RNAV of GCLA (La Palma) in the on-board computer.

    Thanks a lot for the update
    The VDGS does not work, the fix is to rename the folder that goes to community to:
    Tenerife_Norte_Los_Rodeos-Wolkenblau_v1.1

      Because this SEEMS to be for english native speakers to be that kind because a lot of movies with bad guys uses german words. German = bad = n**i. In reality this are just german language words, meaning ‘cloudblue’ = ‘the blue of the cloud(s)’. Not really bad, or what do You think?
      But I have to admit, clouds mostly are white or gray…

      The only other possibility would be not using german words at all –> naming it in a foreign language, for example in english (I guess that this is a german company/developer).

    I’m aware of the issue with MK-Studios version combining both Tenerife-North and Tenerife-South airports into one release. But (putting that to one side and considering the North airport in isolation) is this version of Tenerife-North better than MK Studios version?

      Several aspects are considered here.
      Performance
      overall appearance
      conflicts
      When SimPlaza values ​​it that way, it is for a reason.
      (Then there is the taste of each one and that is already a matter of taste)

    Many thanks. I’d extracted GCXO from the MK twin-pack into a stand-alone GCXO but this one is far superior. Thanks again.

        Best combination in my opinion. MKS also causes weird mesh artifacts close to GCTS for me. So Simwings and Wolkenblau is the best way, also in quality.
